Job Title: Cook (2 Positions – 1 for Curry, 1 for Tandoor)

Manjit’s Indian Restaurant is a renowned dining destination, offering authentic Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist. We are seeking two experienced and passionate cooks to join our team: one specializing in Curry and the other in Tandoor. If you have a love for Indian food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

Positions Available:

  • Curry Cook: Responsible for preparing a variety of traditional Indian curries with precision, flavor, and consistency.
  • Tandoor Cook: Specializes in cooking tandoori dishes, including breads, meats, and kebabs, using a traditional clay oven.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes as per restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are made with fresh ingredients and served on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to meet high customer demand.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Indian restaurant kitchen, specializing in Curry or Tandoor.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
